Surat: Doctors have a sweet chord too…

The Grand Finale Kalrav Antakshari 2017 organised by  Maanav, cultural wing of Rotary Club of Surat Roundtown was a treat to watch as as the doctors of Surat who are mostly found to be serious during their consultations, portrayed their hidden Vocal talents.

Surat: Dr. Jayendra Kapadia and Dr. Madhusudan Umarji clinched the Kalrav Antakshari 2017 tittle by beating  Dr. Shobha Karmik and Dr. Abhishek Karmik during a nail biting finish on Sunday at the Gandhi Smriti Bhawan. Illa Torawala and Nina Joshi were the second runner ups while the team of Dr. Vinod Noticewala and Dr. Beena Noticewala got the fourth position.

The chief guest on the occasion was Meena Agarwal of the Vipul Group of Industries while the guest of honour was Dr Nirmal Choraria of Nirmal Hospital.

Dr Choraria while speaking on the occasion, congratulated the organising committee for organising such a captivating event for the doctors of the city. He said that such steps should be regularly taken by the Rotary club to bring out the hidden talent of the doctors who are mostly busy with their day to day medical activities.

Dr. Deepak Torawala and Dr. Jagdish Jariwala were the co-ordinators of the event while Dr. Vinod  Shah and Dr. Nitin Garg organised the programme successfully.

The Rotary club of Surat Roundtown President Dr. Heena Oza welcomes the large number of guests including doctors and Rotarians who assembled in large numbers at the jam packed auditorium.

Dr Vinod Shah said that such functions are necessary to bring the members and their families under one roof and what could be a better opportunity than a cultural event.
