LeT Terrorists In India, Delhi on high alert

New Delhi: According Intelligence inputs a group of 20 Laskar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists has entered India to carry out attacks. Following these inputs the Delhi police has been put on High Alert.

An alert has been issued to by the Delhi Police to its district, metro police and railway police units. Security has been beefed up with extra caution in market areas, religious places, malls and metro and railway stations.

The advisory has asked various police units to maintain utmost vigil and keep a “sharp eye for suspected persons/articles and vehicles” and conduct proper frisking and checking of vehicles and persons.

Apart from Delhi, according to police sources Mumbai, Rajasthan and Punjab are also expected to keep up vigil.

Officials have also been asked to carry out mock drills to check preparedness of their staff.
